The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 04 offers a harmonious combination of colorful, easy-care plants for a balanced aquarium. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Bucephalandra sp. 'Theia Green', Cryptocoryne x willisii 'nevillii', Hygrophila polysperma, Ludwigia 'Rubin' as well as Aegagropila linnaei. This combination creates natural contrasts from light green to deep red. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and also contribute to the biological balance in the aquarium.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the well-known cardinal flower with small, rounded leaves that forms dense cushions in the foreground. It is easy to cultivate and also looks great in smaller aquariums. In low lighting it stays green; under stronger light it shows more intense colors.
Bucephalandra sp. 'Theia Green' is a small, compact epiphyte with dark green to reddish shimmering leaves. It grows slowly, prefers medium lighting and thrives best on stones or roots.
Cryptocoryne x willisii 'nevillii' forms dense groups in the midground with its medium green, slightly wavy leaves. It grows at a moderate pace, tolerates various water parameters and also copes with little light. This classic Cryptocoryne is particularly robust and perfect for beginners.
Hygrophila polysperma is a fast-growing stem plant that absorbs excess nutrients and thus stabilizes the balance in the aquarium. It grows under almost all conditions and needs only occasional trimming. Its light shade of green sets fresh accents in the background.
Ludwigia 'Rubin' is characterized by its intense wine-red coloration and vigorous growth. With sufficient lighting it shows a particularly deep red and creates a striking contrast in the plant layout.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a colorful, easy-care plant layout that brings stability and a natural look.
