The Aquarium Plant Set - 250 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 07 was put together to design large aquariums in a natural and harmonious way. The set includes Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus", Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green", Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Staurogyne repens, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila corymbosa and Hygrophila polysperma. The combination of robust, green plants creates a natural, balanced planted look that gives aquariums a calm and harmonious atmosphere.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Helanthium bolivianum "quadricostatus" is a robust dwarf sword plant from Central and South America that forms dense, light green lawns. It grows well even under medium lighting and benefits from a regular supply of nutrients. Thanks to its fast runner growth, it is ideal for creating a lively foreground and quickly greening new tanks.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green" is a compact-growing epiphyte with elliptical, slightly glossy leaves. It grows slowly, prefers medium lighting and can be attached to wood or stones. Its different shades of green and shimmering gloss make it a focal point in the midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" stays low and forms dense, rich green bushes. It is easy to care for, grows in medium light and benefits from good iron fertilization. Thanks to its stocky growth, it is ideally suited as a midground plant.
Staurogyne repens is a popular foreground plant with strong stems and light green leaves. It is easy to trim and forms cushion-like stands in the process. With sufficient lighting and CO2 supply, it develops particularly compact growth.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' stands out with its light green leaves with delicate pink to white veins. It grows quickly, tolerates different water parameters and needs only moderate lighting. Regular trimming ensures dense growth and intense coloring of the leaf veins.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fine-leaved, light green stem plant from Asia that grows very quickly. It has modest requirements and is particularly well suited for the initial planting of new aquariums. Its bushy structure adds lightness to the background area.
Hygrophila corymbosa is a large-leaved, fast-growing stem plant that is particularly suitable for larger aquariums. It tolerates hard water and medium lighting and forms dense, lush stands. Its broad leaves and strong stems create a striking green accent in the background.
Hygrophila polysperma is one of the most adaptable aquarium plants and grows under almost any conditions. It efficiently absorbs excess nutrients and thus helps to prevent algae. Thanks to its fast growth, it is ideal for stabilizing new tanks. The result is a lively underwater scene with rich green and a balanced structure.
