The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 02 contains a well-matched selection of easy-care and robust species. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis", Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green", Rotala rotundifolia, Limnophila sessiliflora as well as Aegagropila linnaei. All plants are optimally matched to each other and allow a harmonious design with different leaf and growth forms. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the well-known cardinal flower with rounded, light green leaves. It is ideally suited for the foreground and forms dense groups that also look attractive in nano tanks. With good care it occasionally produces emersed flower spikes with bright red flowers.
Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis" is a small-growing epiphyte with dark green to violet leaves and crinkled edges. It is best attached to driftwood or rock and grows slowly but steadily into compact groups. With its striking colors it is a special eye-catcher in the midground.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green" is one of the best-known and most adaptable aquarium plants. Its bright green, narrow leaves form a loose rosette that is well suited for the midground. The plant grows at a moderate pace and also copes well with less light.
Rotala rotundifolia is a classic stem plant that develops green to reddish leaves under medium lighting. It grows quickly and adds colorful accents to the background. Regular trimming promotes bushy growth and an even structure.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing, finely feathered plant that is particularly suitable for beginners. It forms long, light green shoots and tolerates a wide range of water parameters. Thanks to its growth rate it helps bind nutrients and stabilize the balance in the aquarium.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It is easy to care for, contributes to the biological balance and gives the layout a natural accent.
