Description

The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 13 was put together especially for a harmonious, easy-to-care-for planted aquarium. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown", Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green", Bacopa monnieri 'Compact', Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' and Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea'. The combination of different growth forms and shades of green creates a natural, balanced overall picture.

This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO₂, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.

Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the well-known cardinal flower with roundish, light green leaves. It grows densely and low, making it ideally suited for the foreground. Under strong light, it shows a particularly fresh green and can be grown emersed with striking red flower spikes.

Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" forms brown, lanceolate leaves with slightly wavy edges and maintains stable growth even in low light. The species is extremely robust and easy to care for and fits ideally into the midground. It thrives across a wide range of water parameters and gives the aquarium a natural structure.

Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green" impresses with rich green, medium-sized leaves and its even growth. It is very adaptable, grows slowly and does not need CO₂ supplementation, making it ideal as a midground plant.

Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' grows compact and bushy and is easy to keep in shape with regular trimming. It prefers medium to strong lighting, but can also be kept without problems without CO₂ supplementation. With its fresh green and dense growth, it brings structure and fullness to the midground and background.

Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is a fast-growing stem plant with striking light to pink leaf veins. It is undemanding, easy to care for and grows reliably under various lighting conditions. Under stronger lighting, it shows more intense coloration and can be used as a focal point in the midground or background.

Lysimachia nummularia 'Aurea' adds a fresh splash of color to the aquarium with its bright yellow-green leaves. It grows upright, is robust and is particularly suitable for well-lit areas. This richly colored plant creates contrasts and completes the natural overall effect of the set. The result is a balanced, easy-to-care-for planted aquarium that impresses with harmonious shades of green and vigorous growth.
