The Aquarium Plant Set 120 Litre Green Medium No. 03 has been put together for planted freshwater aquariums with a natural and varied design. The combination of different leaf shapes, growth heights and shades of green allows for a harmonious layout with depth and structure. The set includes Rotala indica, Microsorum pteropus 'Trident', Lilaeopsis brasiliensis, Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown", Hygrophila corymbosa, Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam" and Aegagropila linnaei. The plants are suitable for the foreground, midground and background and together create a lively overall appearance. The moss balls complete the set as living decoration.
This set is intended for aquarists who already have some experience. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilisation 2–3 times per week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Rotala indica is a fine-leaved stem plant with fresh light green to slightly reddish new growth. It grows quickly and is ideal for the background or for creating dense plant groups. Regular trimming encourages compact growth and a bushy structure.
Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' is a decorative Java fern with narrow, branched leaf tips. The plant is preferably attached to roots or stones, where it develops dense clusters over time. It is robust, slow-growing and particularly suitable for the midground.
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis forms grass-like runners and is ideal for the foreground. Under good conditions, it develops a dense green carpet with a natural appearance. The plant prefers regular care and benefits from medium lighting as well as CO2 supplementation.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" stands out with its wavy brown-green leaves and robust nature. It is ideal for the midground and adapts well to different water parameters. After acclimatisation, it develops stable and even growth.
Hygrophila corymbosa is a fast-growing stem plant with large light green leaves. It is ideal for the background and supports the biological stability of the aquarium with its vigorous growth. Regular trimming ensures a compact structure.
Eriocaulon sp. "Vietnam" is a striking rosette plant with fine, needle-like leaves. It forms compact green tufts and creates special accents in the midground. For healthy growth, it requires stable water parameters, a good nutrient supply and sufficient light.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It adds extra structure to the layout and can be used flexibly. The result is a varied planted aquarium with a natural effect and harmonious overall appearance.
