UV-C clarifiers such as the reeflexUV from EHEIM sterilize and clean the water in the aquarium. Water flowing through is irradiated with UV-C light, which destroys the cell structures of algae spores and bacteria as well as other microorganisms. The UV-C clarifier is connected via a hose to the external filter or a circulation pump. Thanks to its design based on an aluminum body, the reeflexUV offers the advantage of low power loss and particularly high efficiency through light reflection.
