Aquasabi - CO2 Diffusers

Among the devices for injecting CO₂ into aquarium water, so-called diffusers are certainly one of the most effective methods in planted aquariums and aquascaping. In the diffuser, the gas is forced through a ceramic membrane and thereby atomized into countless micro-fine bubbles. This greatly increases the surface area of the bubbles, which massively increases contact with the water and makes it easier for CO₂ to dissolve. Since higher pressure is beneficial for finely atomizing the gas, CO₂ diffusers are usually used with refillable CO₂ systems.

Both materials combine elegant design with high functionality, yet each has its own particular advantages: Glass looks especially light thanks to its transparency, but needs to be cleaned from time to time.
