Description
This plant is native to Europe, where it grows on the banks and in the shallow areas of very clean waterbodies poor in nutrients and in calcium. It has not been used in aquascaping very often up to now. The growth habit of Littorella uniflora is unique, it has pointy round leaves, is a slow grower and throws runners. Very interesting as group or small lawn in the fore- and middle ground of aquaria, and it needs lots of light. The leaves are quite brittle, you ought to keep this in mind when working in the tank.
Shoreweed, or Littorella uniflora, is a small plant, closely related to the plantains (genus Plantago), which reproduces by runners. In Europe it is native to the shores and shallow-water zones of clear lakes and ponds with sandy ground, whose waters are poor in nutrients and low in calcium.
Littorella is a very slow grower in the aquarium.

Schöner Bodendecker
War super leicht zu teilen und einzupflanzen. Den Becher den ich erhalten hab war gut gefüllt und hat somit viel abgedeckt.

I have this ground cover plant in both of my betta tanks. Quality good as usual. Grows on soil without added fertilizer or CO2.
