Description
The Aquarium Plant Set 60 Litres Colourful Medium No. 09 was designed for planted aquariums with varied structures and intense colour contrasts. The combination of red stem plants, compact foreground plants and decorative epiphyte plants creates a vibrant and modern aquascape with natural depth. The set includes Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig', Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3", Hygrophila lancea "Araguaia", Staurogyne repens, Limnophila sessiliflora, Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') and Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red".
This set is intended for people who already have experience in aquatics. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilisation 2–3 times per week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Alternanthera reineckii 'Rosanervig' adds intense red and pink tones to the aquarium and creates striking colour accents in the midground or background. Under strong lighting, the plant develops particularly vivid leaf coloration and provides an excellent contrast to green plants. Regular trimming promotes compact and bushy growth.
Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3" is a popular foreground plant with small, bright green leaves and creeping growth. It forms dense carpets and creates a natural-looking aquascape layout. With sufficient lighting and CO2, it grows compactly and evenly.
Hygrophila lancea "Araguaia" features narrow, slightly wavy leaves with reddish-brown coloration. The plant grows compactly and is ideal for the midground area. Under good conditions, it develops particularly intense colours and an attractive growth form.
Staurogyne repens is a robust foreground and midground plant with strong green leaves and low growth. It is perfect for creating natural transitions between hardscape and carpeting plants. Regular trimming encourages dense and decorative cushions.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing stem plant with finely feathered, light green leaves. It adds lightness and volume to the background of the aquarium. Due to its rapid growth, it also helps support the biological balance during the start-up phase.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a very compact epiphyte plant with small, dark green leaves. It is ideal for attaching to rocks or driftwood and requires very little maintenance. Thanks to its slow growth, it remains decorative and stable in shape over a long period.
Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" impresses with its intense red coloration and delicate stems. Under strong lighting, the plant develops especially vibrant colours and creates strong contrasts in the background. Regular trimming promotes dense and bushy plant growth.
