Description

The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 10 was specially developed for smaller aquariums to create a harmonious and natural underwater landscape. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis", Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii", Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Lysimachia nummularia and Rotala rotundifolia. The well-matched selection of different growth heights and leaf shapes gives the aquarium a lively, fresh and natural appeal.

This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO₂, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.

Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact variety of the cardinal flower with small, rounded leaves that forms dense cushions. It grows evenly in the foreground and stays manageable even in nano aquariums. Thanks to its robustness and adaptability it is ideal for getting started.

Bucephalandra sp. "Biblis" originates from the island of Borneo and is characterized by dark green to violet shimmering leaves with wavy edges. The plant grows slowly, adheres well to stones or roots and develops intense coloration under stable conditions. It is particularly adaptable and creates beautiful accents on the hardscape in the midground.

Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" is an easy-care Cryptocoryne species that develops into a dense group via runners. It grows at a moderate pace, prefers medium lighting and copes well with various water parameters. With its fresh green it provides structure and lightness in the midground.

Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" is a small-growing variety of Hygrophila corymbosa with short internodes and dense growth. It forms bushy cushions that are ideal for the front midground. With a sufficient nutrient supply it grows vigorously and shows bright green leaves.

Lysimachia nummularia, the well-known moneywort, has rounded leaves and upright, light green stems. The species thrives in both cooler and moderately heated tanks. It is particularly well suited for background planting and brings brightness to the layout.

Rotala rotundifolia is a classic stem plant from Asia that is characterized by its light green to reddish coloration. It grows upright, forms dense shoots and responds to strong lighting with intense red coloration. The plant is undemanding and ideal for setting color accents in the background. The result is a balanced, easy-care plant set that transforms small aquariums into a lively and harmonious underwater landscape.
