Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Colorful - Medium - No. 01 offers a balanced selection of proven aquarium plants for a harmonious overall look. The set includes Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3"), Anubias barteri var. nana, Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Rotala indica, Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The well-matched combination of these species creates structure, depth and color contrasts in the aquarium. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration.
This set is aimed at hobbyists who already have some experience in aquarium keeping. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilization 2-3x/week. The plants benefit from a regular nutrient supply and stable water parameters.
Micranthemum tweediei ("Montecarlo-3") forms dense, creeping carpets and is ideally suited as a structuring carpeting plant in the foreground. With sufficient CO2 the plant shows vigorous green growth and responds well to regular trimming. With stable water parameters the carpet stays compact and healthy.
Anubias barteri var. nana is an extremely robust epiphyte that is very easy to attach to roots or stones. It grows slowly, prefers semi-shaded spots and benefits from a moderate CO2 supply. With its dark leaves it provides contrast and structure in the midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" grows bushy and compact and is ideal for medium light intensities. The plant responds well to regular trimming and forms dense groups that give the aquarium volume. With a moderate nutrient supply it develops rich green, healthy leaves.
Rotala indica forms upright stems with small, rounded leaves that appear fresh green under medium light. With stronger lighting and a CO2 supply the shoot tips turn slightly reddish. This plant gives the aquarium vertical structure and looks particularly natural when planted in groups.
Rotala rotundifolia "Singapore Blood Red" impresses with its intense red coloration, which comes out best under strong light. It grows quickly, is easy to propagate from cuttings and forms dense, bushy groups in the background. Its bright red creates a beautiful contrast to light green plants.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. It supports the biological balance and adds natural accents. The result is a balanced plant design with stable growth and aesthetic depth.
