The Aquarium Plant Set - 250 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 03 was developed especially for large aquariums to create a harmonious, natural underwater landscape with robust and easy-to-care-for species. The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown", Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green", Cryptocoryne × willisii "lucens", Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis', Limnophila sessiliflora, Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae and Aegagropila linnaei. This combination provides varied growth heights, different leaf structures and a stable plant composition that gives any aquarium a natural, lively atmosphere. The moss balls complete the set as living decoration and set subtle, organic accents in the layout.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is an extremely small form of the dwarf anubias and ideal for decorating roots and stones. It grows very slowly, stays compact with its ovate leaves and needs only little light.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" is an easy-to-care-for, brown variety of the popular water trumpet. Its wavy, lanceolate leaves form dense clumps that give structure to the midground. It thrives even under low lighting and is extremely adaptable.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green" forms strong, light green leaf rosettes and grows slowly but steadily. It is ideal for planting larger areas in the midground and also copes well with less light. Its fresh color brings freshness to the layout.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "lucens" impresses with narrow, medium green leaves and quickly forms dense groups. The plant grows evenly, stays compact and is extremely easy to care for. It is ideal for the transition area between the foreground and midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa 'Siamensis' is a classic, fast-growing stem plant with lanceolate leaves and vigorous growth. It thrives under medium lighting and benefits from a good nutrient supply. Due to its rapid growth, it actively contributes to stabilizing the aquarium.
Limnophila sessiliflora is a fine-leaved, light green stem plant from Southeast Asia that delights with its delicate appearance. It grows very quickly, improves water quality and is perfect for the background. Regular trimming ensures dense, bushy stands.
Cryptocoryne crispatula var. balansae is characterized by its long, hammered leaves that sway elegantly in the water. It is robust, grows even in medium light and prefers a nutrient-rich substrate. This species looks particularly impressive in the background of large tanks.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is an easy-to-care-for, harmonious plant set that brings both stability and natural beauty to large aquariums.
