The Aquarium Plant Set - 120 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 07 combines robust, easy-to-care-for species for a harmonious, natural green layout. The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown", Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt", Cryptocoryne x willisii "nevillii", Hygrophila polysperma, Bacopa caroliniana and Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig'. The selection covers the foreground, midground and background and creates a balanced planted look with little maintenance effort.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small variety with very compact growth and firm, dark green leaves. It grows slowly and should be tied onto roots or stones, as the rhizome must not be planted in the substrate. Thanks to its robustness and decorative appearance, it is ideal for hardscape details in the midground.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "brown" is an easy-to-care-for, adaptable rosette plant with brown, slightly wavy leaves. It thrives in almost any substrate and prefers low to medium light. Thanks to its warm coloring, it creates natural contrasts and a calm appearance in the midground.
Hygrophila corymbosa "Kompakt" is a low-growing, bushy stem plant that forms dense groups with rich green leaves. It reaches a height of 6 to 10 cm and gives the midground a clear structure thanks to its compact growth form. With regular trimming, it keeps its shape and, thanks to its low light requirements, is particularly easy to care for.
Cryptocoryne × willisii "nevillii" is a robust, medium-sized Cryptocoryne that forms dense groups via runners. Its narrow, medium green to reddish-tinged leaves give the aquarium a natural depth. It grows slowly, does not need CO2, but benefits from a nutrient-rich substrate.
Hygrophila polysperma is a fast-growing, undemanding stem plant and is ideally suited for the background. It grows reliably even in low light and, thanks to its rapid nutrient consumption, helps to prevent algae. Regular trimming promotes dense, bushy growth.
Bacopa caroliniana is a classic stem plant with strong, upright shoots and roundish, fleshy leaves. Under intense lighting, the foliage takes on a copper-red color. It grows slowly, stays compact and, with its clear shape, brings calm to the background area.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is characterized by its light to pink leaf veins, which form a contrast to green plants. It grows briskly, is very tolerant of different water parameters and is easy to care for. Under stronger light, the pink tones become more intense, setting lively accents. The result is a well-balanced plant set that impresses with harmonious colors, different growth forms and uncomplicated care, and makes a permanently stable, natural-looking aquarium possible.
