Description
These leaves are harvested from walnut trees in the mixed forests and their edges of the northern Black Forest in southwestern Germany and then carefully air-dried. They are harvested directly from the trees, not taken from the ground, thereby ensuring optimum quality.
Green walnut leaves provide a good alternation in the diet of shrimps. They are popular with all hobbyists who like to add natural products to the feed. Additionally, walnut leaves have the same effect as Sea-almond (Terminalia catappa) leaves, but in weakened form – one of the reasons why they are very popular with shrimp keepers.
For the Nano version, especially small leaves with a maximum length of 7 cm are hand-selected - ideal for Nano aquaria.

The leaves arrived in a zip bag in good condition, i.e. no crumbs. The size varies, mostly large leaves came, also some smaller ones, which suits me fine since I need some for... (read more)

Tolles Zusatzfutter/Dauerfutter
Leaves were well packed, so they all arrived intact. Size and quality of the leaves are definitely good. Thumbs up

Daumen hoch
These leaves should be left to sit longer, otherwise they raise the nitrite level. In my case the 80 liter tank crashed within a few hours. (read more)
