These leaves are harvested from apple trees in the meadow orchards between the Heckengäu area and the northern Black Forest in southwestern Germany and then carefully dried. As they are harvested directly from the trees and not taken from the ground, optimum quality is ensured. Pear leaves provide a good alternation in the diet of shrimps. They are popular with all hobbyists who like to add natural products to the feed.

I add them to my order every now and then. The leaves still smell strongly of apple and the water is slightly tinted after a day. Very nice. Shrimp and snails love it.
