Description
This local form of Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata is very rarely available. As well as the Cuba Ludwigia, it forms submerged shoots with densely set, narrow leaves, however it differs by pretty red coloration.
Ludwigia inclinata var. verticillata "Pantanal" has higher demands than "Cuba". Strong lighting, CO2 injection, rather soft water and a balanced, complete macro- and micronutrient supply are necessary. It can be propagated by cuttings, as well as other stem plants. In emersed culture, it develops broader leaves and quite showy yellow flowers.
This rare Ludwigia from the South American Pantanal area is a true eyecatcher as a bush in the midground to background of aquariums.

Unfortunately they arrived somewhat stunted. But that's probably due to the longer transport to Switzerland. I understand. But it was a good portion. (read more)

Also kommen sie. Und Wuau. Bin begeistert.
A nice portion in the in vitro pot, once it starts to stand up and has adapted, the tops glow orange-red, you just need a little time for it like with all freshly planted plants.

Super Pflanze
Great plants, arrived good and healthy in the Netherlands. Grows very vigorously here and is very colorful. Would very happily buy again.

Sehr gerne wieder.
