Description

With JBL ArtemioPur, cultivating Artemia brine shrimp as high-quality live food is easy. The specially selected Artemia eggs are characterized by a maximum hatching rate, ensuring reliable cultivation.

Application is straightforward: the eggs are added to saltwater, and the nauplii hatch within just 24 hours. The required special salt is available separately. Even with extended storage, the hatching rate remains consistently high thanks to the nitrogen-filled packaging. The product comes in a 40 ml glass bottle containing 20 g of Artemia eggs, including a measuring spoon. When unopened, it has a shelf life of up to one year; after opening, it should be used within four months.

Poor hatch rate
21st April 2024

You have to add significantly more eggs if you want to “harvest” a similar number of nauplii as with well-known manufacturers - a cautious estimate would put the hatch rate at bel... (read more)

Schlupfrate schlecht

Absolutely horrible hatch rate
19th January 2022

The hatch rate of these eggs is absolutely horrible! Maybe 20% at best. It is so low that it renders the product unusable because it will fill the aquarium substrate with waste... (read more)
