Description
The Dupla ultrapure water filter is an ideal addition to osmosis systems and ensures the reliable removal of residual substances in the water. The filter housing is filled with 500 ml of Duresin RI, a high-performance ion exchange resin that was specially developed for the post-treatment of osmosis water. This filter effectively removes any residual ions that may remain in the water after the reverse osmosis process. It is connected directly to the osmosis system and is easy to install thanks to the included hose connections. The use of the Dupla ultrapure water filter guarantees even greater water purity, which is particularly beneficial for demanding aquariums.

Wirkt wie beschrieben
Ich nutze diesen Filter hinter meiner Osmoseanlage, um u.a. den hohen verbleibenden Silikatwert zu senken und als Nebeneffekt auch den Leitwert noch etwas zu drücken, schließlich weiß man nie ohne es analysieren zu lassen was tatsächlich noch im Wasser verbleibt.
Das Wasser hier ist hart und silikatreich, und es gibt zumindest plausible Hinweise, dass dieser Silikatwert dafür sorgt, dass sich insbesondere empfindliche Caridinas nicht so entwickeln wie man es anhand des sonstigen Wassers erwarten würde.
Unabhängig davon, ob das nun bei dem Problem hilft, wirkt dieser Filter super. Silikat ist mit dem JBL Test unter der Nachweisgrenze, der Leitwert wird als 0,8 µS/cm gemessen.
