Description
The Aquasabi CO2 Conic Counter with enclosed glass non-return valve combines precise CO2 control with high-quality workmanship. The bubble counter made of glass enables easy and accurate reading of the CO2 dosage thanks to its conical shape.
The separately enclosed non-return valve, also made of glass, provides reliable protection against water flowing back into the CO2 system and increases safety. Thanks to its elegant design and high-quality materials, the set blends seamlessly into any aquarium set-up. A well thought-out solution for a safe and effective CO2 supply in the plant aquarium.

Application
- Fill the bubble counter with water
- Use tubing to connect the CO2 supplying system with the check valve
- Connect the check valve to the lower part of the bubble counter (the check valve should be rather close to the bubble counter)
- Connect the outflow of the bubble counter with the CO2 diffuser or reactor

It is recommended to use a suitable hose for connecting glassware. Soft hoses reduce the risk of glass breakage when connecting. The piece of tubing used should be kept as short as possible to avoid unnecessary CO2 losses.
Silicone hoses are not pressure-resistant and therefore cannot be used for the connection to the pressure reducer.

Zufriedenheit pur - seit 2015!
Zur Einrichtung meiner CO2 Anlage im November 2015 wurde auch dieser Blasenzähler aufgrund seiner optischen Eigenschaften gewählt.
Zum Schutz der Anlage kommt jedoch ein besseres Rückschlagventil aus Metall zum Einsatz, wobei das beigefügte aus Glas dennoch aus folgendem Grund im Einsatz ist:
Da der Außendurchmesser des Ein- und Ausgangs des Blasenzählers zu groß gewählt ist um den druckfesten CO2 Schlauch trotz dessen Erwärmung über die Enden zu bekommen, wird das Rückschlagventil aus Glas als Adapter genutzt, da dessen Enden über einen kleineren Außendurchmesser verfügen. Dessen Ausgang wurde dann mit einem kurzen Stück Silikonschlauch (Länge ca. 60mm woraus sich ein Abstand von knapp 40mm ergibt) an den Blasenzähler angeschlossen. Von dort geht es mit einem weiteren ca. 60mm langen Stück Silikonschlauch zum nicht mehr im Sortiment erhältlichen Aquasabi CO2 J-Pipe, an dem wiederum mit einem in der Länge angepassten Stück Silikonschlauch der CO2 Glas Diffusor angeschlossen ist.
Zwar sind Silikonschläuche nicht so dicht wie spezielle CO2 Schläuche; bei der zum Einsatz kommenden Länge von 2x 40mm habe ich jedoch keine Bedenken, dass (zu)viel CO2 ungenutzt abhanden kommt.
Der Anschluss nochmal in kürze:
Magnetventil > ca- 600 - 700mm CO2 Schlauch > Aquasabi - Rückschlagventil - 6/4 mm > ca. 300mm CO2 Schlauch > Rückschlagventil aus Glas als Adapter > 60mm Silikonschlauch > Blasenzähler > 60 mm Silikonschlauch > Aquasabi CO2 J-Pipe > ca. 150mm Silikonschlauch > Glas Diffusor
The bubbles are easy to read. I was initially worried that the check valve might rattle, as described for other bubble counters offered here. (read more)

schöner Blasenzähler
Die Blasen sind gut abzulesen. Hatte zunächst bedenken, dass das Rückschlagventil klackern könnte wie bei anderen hier angebotenen Blasenzählern beschrieben. Bisher ist davon aber nichts zu hören.
Bei der Installation hilft es, den CO2 Schlauch für ein paar Sekunden in heißes Wasser zu hängen, denn ohne dies war der Schlauch nicht über das Röhrchen des Blasenzählers zu stülpen. Die Röhrchen des Rückschlagventils sind im Durchmesser etwas kleiner. Hier konnte der Schlauch recht einfach übergestülpt werden.
The bubble counter is simple and works very well. Very nice, plain shape and light as well. Nothing breaks off, since there's no plastic with a screw thread.

Guter Blasenzähler und dazu günstig
Der Blasenzähler ist einfach gehalten und funktioniert sehr gut. Sehr schöne schlichte Form und zudem leicht. Es bricht nichts ab, da kein Plastik mit Drehgewinde.
