Description

The Aquarium Plant Set - 60 Liters - Colorful - Easy - No. 01 was carefully put together to make a balanced and colorful layout possible for aquariums up to 60 liters. The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Bucephalandra sp. "Theia", Staurogyne repens, Limnophila sessiliflora and Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The plants complement each other in growth form and color effect, creating a harmonious overall impression. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and contribute to the biological stability of the aquarium.

This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO₂, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.

Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is an extremely compact form of the dwarf Anubias. It has very small, ovate leaves only about 1–2 cm long and grows exceptionally slowly. This robust species thrives even in low light and without added CO₂ – ideal for the foreground or root decorations in nano tanks.

Bucephalandra sp. "Theia" forms compact, creeping rhizomes and, depending on the light conditions, shows olive green to purple hues with a metallic shimmer. It prefers to grow on stones or roots and should not be planted in the substrate. With medium light and an even nutrient supply it develops dense, attractive bushes.

Staurogyne repens is a compact-growing, sturdy midground plant that forms dense carpets of low shoots. With regular trimming it develops particularly bushy and even growth. It grows reliably even under lower lighting, but shows a more compact appearance at medium to high light intensity. A CO₂ supply is not strictly necessary but promotes the plant's growth.

Limnophila sessiliflora is a fast-growing, finely feathered background plant that is very well suited for the start-up phase of a tank. It thrives even under low lighting and helps bind excess nutrients. Under strong light its shoot tips turn slightly reddish and form an attractive contrast.

Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" provides strong color accents in the midground to background with its intensely red leaves. It grows quickly and forms dense groups with regular trimming. Under medium to strong light it shows its most intense red and gives the aquarium depth and dynamism.

The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is an easy-care, colorful plant mix that allows even beginners to enjoy a healthy and balanced aquarium.
