Description
The Aquarium Plant Set - 30 Liters - Green - Easy - No. 01 is a carefully curated complete package of six robust potted plants and decorative moss balls, specially developed for a harmonious, natural-looking layout in small aquariums. The set includes Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini', Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Cryptocoryne x willisii "lucens", Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green", Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' and Hemianthus glomeratus as well as Aegagropila linnaei. The combination of foreground, midground and background plants allows for a balanced design with different leaf structures and growth forms. The moss balls complete the set as a living decoration and add natural accents to the aquarium.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing much prior knowledge of aquarium keeping or plant care. The selected plants need only low light and no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, have no high demands on water parameters and forgive care mistakes.
Lobelia cardinalis 'Mini' is a compact dwarf form of the well-known cardinal flower with smaller, rounded leaves. It can be used in many ways in the foreground and midground as a dense group or plant street, and thanks to its small size it is also ideally suited for nano aquariums.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small-growing variety of Anubias with extremely compact growth and very small leaves. It is best tied onto roots or stones, and its rhizome should not be buried.
Cryptocoryne x willisii "lucens" is a long-proven, robust Cryptocoryne with narrow, lanceolate, medium green leaves. It forms dense bushes or lawn-like stands and is ideal for the midground of small aquariums.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green" grows very compactly with a branching rhizome and shows attractive color nuances with a slight shimmer underwater. As an epiphyte, it looks especially good on rock or wood and grows slowly but steadily.
Bacopa monnieri 'Compact' can be shaped into a dense, compact bush through targeted trimming. It is just as undemanding as the original species but grows in a more structured way and is well suited for the background of small tanks.
Hemianthus glomeratus is a delicate stem plant with small, light green leaves that looks very lively when planted densely. Under stronger lighting it can also grow partly creeping and brings freshness to the background.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is a harmonious, easy-care layout for beginners and returning hobbyists.
