The Aquarium Plant Set 30 Litre Colourful Medium No. 10 has been put together for colourful nature aquariums and high-contrast aquascapes. The combination of red stem plants, richly structured epiphytic plants and dense carpeting plants creates a varied overall appearance with a lively sense of depth. The set includes Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini', Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3", Hydrocotyle tripartita, Hemianthus glomeratus, Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang" and Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice'. The different growth forms allow for harmonious design of the foreground, midground and background. The intense orange and red tones in particular create attractive colour accents and give the aquarium a modern, dynamic appearance.
This set is intended for aquarists who already have some experience. The selected plants require medium lighting, CO2 levels of 20 to 30 mg/l and fertilisation 2–3 times per week. The plants benefit from a regular supply of nutrients and stable water parameters.
Alternanthera reineckii 'Mini' is a compact-growing red stem plant with intensely coloured leaves. It is ideal for the midground and forms dense groups with regular trimming. Under good lighting and with CO2, it develops particularly strong red and purple tones.
Micranthemum tweediei "Montecarlo-3" forms a dense, fresh green carpet in the foreground of the aquarium. The plant grows creeping across the substrate and is ideal for extensive layouts. With sufficient lighting and CO2, it develops particularly compact and closed growth.
Hydrocotyle tripartita impresses with its small, clover-like leaves and lively growth. The plant can grow both creeping and upright, bringing plenty of dynamism to the layout. It is ideal for transitions between foreground and midground.
Hemianthus glomeratus is a delicate stem plant with fine, light green leaves and dense growth. It creates a natural, bushy structure in the midground. Regular trimming encourages compact growth and supports the formation of dense plant groups.
Bucephalandra sp. "Kedagang" is a decorative epiphytic plant with dark green to slightly metallic shimmering leaves. It grows slowly and is ideal for attaching to roots or stones. This robust plant brings calm structures and natural contrasts to the aquarium.
Rotala rotundifolia 'Orange Juice' develops bright orange to reddish shoot tips under good lighting. This fast-growing stem plant is ideal for the background, where it creates intense colour accents. Regular trimming produces a dense, bushy plant stand with a particularly decorative effect. The result is a colourful, modern planted aquarium with varied structures, lively contrasts and a harmonious sense of depth.
