The set includes Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini'), Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green", Echinodorus 'Tricolor', Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green", Limnophila sessiliflora, Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig', Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" and Aegagropila linnaei. The selected plants complement each other in color and structure to form a natural, balanced design that creates both calm and lively areas in the aquarium. The moss balls complete the set as living decoration.
This set is designed to let you set up an aquarium without needing extensive prior knowledge of aquatics and plant care. The selected plants need low light, no CO2, and weekly fertilization is sufficient. All plants are robust and easy to care for, do not place high demands on water parameters, and are forgiving of care mistakes.
Anubias barteri var. nana 'Bonsai' ('Mini Mini') is a particularly small variety with very compact growth and firm, dark green leaves. It grows slowly and should be tied onto roots or stones, as the rhizome must not be planted in the substrate. Thanks to its robustness and decorative appearance, it is ideal for hardscape details in the midground.
Bucephalandra sp. "Theia Green" is a compact, decorative plant from the island of Borneo. Its elliptical leaves show various shades of green depending on the light intensity. It grows slowly, needs only moderate lighting and benefits from constant water quality.
Echinodorus 'Tricolor' impresses with its three-colored leaves ranging from light green to reddish-brown. This sword plant forms strong leaves and grows briskly under medium light. It is an expressive focal point in the midground to background of larger tanks.
Cryptocoryne wendtii "Green" is a classic rosette plant with narrow, green leaves. It adapts well to different conditions and is extremely easy to care for. Even in low light, it shows stable growth and is ideally suited for the midground.
Limnophila sessiliflora is one of the most popular fast-growing stem plants in the aquarium hobby. Its fine, light green shoots form dense groups and help reduce nutrients. It also thrives in soft water and contributes to the biological stability of the tank.
Hygrophila polysperma 'Rosanervig' is characterized by light green to pink leaves with striking veining. It grows quickly and is ideal for preventing algae growth. With sufficient lighting, it forms intense color contrasts in the midground.
Ludwigia palustris "Super Red" brings strong color accents to the aquarium with its bright red foliage. Even under medium lighting, it develops intense coloration and grows compactly. It is an excellent addition to high-contrast planting zones in the background.
The moss ball Aegagropila linnaei serves as a decorative addition that can be placed freely in the aquarium. The result is an easy-to-care-for, colorful aquarium that combines stability and a natural feel.
